The journey leads to the highest train station in Europe. Either via the gondolas of the V-Bahn at the terminal or by train from Grindelwald Grund. You can also take the train to Kleine Scheidegg via Lauterbrunnen and Wengen. Then it’s on from there to the Eigergletscher station and finally to the Jungfraujoch. Of the nine-kilometer route, seven kilometers are in tunnels, where the train crosses the Eiger and Mönch mountains. At the Eismeer intermediate station, trains stop for five minutes and visitors can admire the fascinating mountain scenery through observation windows. The Jungfrau Railway climbs 1400 meters in altitude.

An incomparable view of the high alpine Aletsch region and the Swiss midlands awaits you on the Sphinx Terrace.
