Grindelwald Museum

Storytelling has become an on-trend topic at seminars, workshops, conferences, meetings and events. And Grindelwald certainly has plenty of stories to tell – for instance, the adventures of the mountaineers who have scaled the Eiger, Wetterhorn or Schreckhorn, the legend of the “Challi-Groosi” or countless tales handed down by the 19th century “glacier pastor” Gottfried Strasser. The museum is housed in the former school building next to the church. Its collection includes many old and valuable exhibits, which bring the history and evolution of the “Glacier Village” to life.
