Art Festival Light Art

From October 7 to 16, 2022, the art festival Light Art will take place in Grindelwald.

National and international light artists will show surprising and impressive light installations in the public space in the village center of Grindelwald during the festival. For example in the church of Grindelwald, on the Eiger+ Square or the Baer Square. With their works of art, the light artists invite visitors to linger and, using various techniques and technologies, depict what is otherwise difficult to express in words and soothingly induce silence.

During 10 days, the light installations can be admired from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. each day. The visit is free of charge.
The Light Art Festival aims to attract national and international attention, but also to offer Grindelwald residents, national day-trippers and regular visitors something new and surprising to look forward to year after year.
